Log swelling, breathlessness and pulse, and get an alert when something matches the signs the NHS says to act on right away. Each food is weighed against your condition.
If your profile has venous thrombosis and you log breathlessness that came on suddenly, the alert is MEDICAL EMERGENCY. The rule comes from the NHS pulmonary embolism page, with its quote.
If you log palpitations and mark that your heart feels racing, with your condition the alert is MEDICAL EMERGENCY, also per the NHS.
When you log leg swelling, Cognia asks which side. If it is in just one leg, the alert is SEE A DOCTOR SOON; if there is also breathlessness or chest pain, it is MEDICAL EMERGENCY. These two rules apply to any profile.
Enter each medication with its schedule (every few hours, at a fixed time, certain days or only when needed) and the app alerts you. Log each dose. Cognia does not change or prescribe treatments.
The traffic light weighs a food from your venous thrombosis, with the reason and, where there is one, the source. Preparation counts: the catalogue tells apart the preparations of the same food. It informs; it never forbids.
Log your heart rate and oxygen saturation; each one warns by its ranges with the source behind it. Low saturation triggers an alert for any profile. You measure and enter the value.
Choose an emergency contact. If something reaches MEDICAL EMERGENCY, they are alerted right away; if they chose it, URGENT CHECK-UP alerts too. Cognia does not call emergency services: it shows your country’s number and the button opens the dialler.
