Cognia keeps symptoms, the time of each dose and what is eaten, and alerts you when a log cannot wait. You can keep it for yourself or for your relative.
Log tremor, balance problems, loss of coordination, dizziness, difficulty swallowing, constipation, insomnia, fatigue or low mood, with their intensity, time and notes.
Enter the medication with its schedule (every few hours, at fixed times, certain days or only when needed), get the phone alert and log each dose.
When you log a symptom you can turn on follow-up: Cognia asks again every few hours (gone, same or worse) and, when it passes, stores how long it lasted.
Log each bowel movement with the 7 Bristol scale types, its colour and signs such as blood, mucus, pain, straining, urgency or feeling of incomplete emptying. If days go by without a log, Cognia reminds you.
The traffic light weighs a food from the profile’s condition, with its reason and, where there is one, its source. Preparation counts: the catalogue tells apart the preparations of the same food. It informs; it never forbids.
When you log symptoms such as dizziness, confusion or weakness, Cognia asks questions and, depending on the answers, marks TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR, SEE A DOCTOR SOON or MEDICAL EMERGENCY, using criteria from NHS and MedlinePlus pages. Parkinson’s has no alarm questions of its own: these are the general ones by symptom.
Choose an emergency contact. If a log reaches MEDICAL EMERGENCY, they get an alert with the profile’s name and what was logged; if they chose it, urgent evaluations too. Cognia does not call emergency services: it shows the country’s number. How many profiles you can keep depends on your plan.
