When you feel awful you do not want to type much. Log what is happening in a few taps and Cognia shows level-based alerts if something deserves attention. Cognia does not diagnose or advise treatment.
Gastroenteritis has no alarm questions of its own in Cognia. There are level-based alerts, with their source (NHS or MedlinePlus): vomiting blood, vomiting that stops you keeping fluids down, bloody diarrhoea, or very severe vomiting and diarrhoea.

Pick from the seven Bristol types and, if you like, the colour, signs such as blood, mucus, pain or urgency, and a note. It is saved with its time and the day’s count works itself out.
When you log nausea, tummy pain or any discomfort you can turn on follow-up: Cognia asks again after the hours you choose (gone, same or worse) and, when it passes, stores how long it lasted.
When you log diarrhoea or vomiting, one of the causes Cognia suggests is a stomach bug. It is a clue to organise your log, not a diagnosis.

Choose an emergency contact. MEDICAL EMERGENCY alerts always reach them if they accepted your invitation; URGENT EVALUATION ones, if they chose that. When there is an urgency, a button appears to call your country’s emergency number, which opens the dialler.
You can keep another person’s log in their own profile. Alerts always carry the profile name. How many profiles you can have depends on your plan.
