Pain changes from day to day and cycle to cycle. Cognia keeps what you feel, eat and take, and shows you what repeats.
Cognia has the symptoms “menstrual pain” and “heavy menstrual bleeding”, with intensity, time and notes. A diary of several cycles reads very differently from “it hurts a lot”.
When you log symptoms such as period pain, heavy bleeding or bloating, the suggested causes include “Period or premenstrual”, and with endometriosis in your profile that cause is suggested first. That way you tell what belongs to the cycle from what does not.
The traffic light weighs a food from your condition, with the reason and, where there is one, the source. Preparation counts: the catalogue tells apart the preparations of the same food. It informs; it never forbids.
Log meals, supplements, medication and exercise next to your symptoms. If something shows up before a bad spell, Cognia saves the match and, if it repeats, moves it up a level and tells you how many times.
When you log a symptom you can turn on follow-up: Cognia asks again every few hours (gone, same or worse) and, when it passes, stores how long it lasted.
You can log haemoglobin, haematocrit and other blood count values, with ranges and alerts, or upload a photo of the result for the AI to read. Cognia has no ferritin among its biomarkers.
Endometriosis has no alarm questions of its own in Cognia. There are level-based alerts, with the NHS page behind them, for symptoms such as abdominal pain, vomiting or fever, depending on your answers.
