With COPD, oxygen is not read the same as in someone else. Cognia applies its own alert to your saturation, logs your symptoms and shows what the evidence says about each food.
If you have COPD on your profile, Cognia uses its own criterion for saturation: the usual target is 88-92%, and below 88% without oxygen it asks you to repeat at rest and contact your doctor or COPD team. For other people the thresholds are different. If your doctor gave you another range, that rules.
Log oxygen, heart rate and temperature, each with its ranges and level-based alert, with the source of every threshold. With Premium, scheduled reminders to take your readings.
COPD has no alarm questions of its own in Cognia. There are detail questions and level-based alerts, with the NHS page behind them, for symptoms such as breathlessness or chest pain.
The traffic light weighs foods from your COPD, with the reason and, where there is one, its source. The catalogue tells apart the preparations of one food, and a food is neither good nor bad in general: it is weighed against your condition.
Log meals, medicines, supplements and exercise. If something shows up before a symptom, Cognia saves the match and, if it repeats, moves it up a level and shows how many times. For medicines, supplements and exercise it looks at the 24 hours before.
Turn on follow-up when you log a symptom and Cognia asks again every few hours: gone, same or worse. When it is over, it stores how long it lasted.
Note the schedule for each medicine and the app alerts you at each dose time, with a record of every dose.
Choose an emergency contact. If the alert is urgent, they always get it; if they chose so, the urgent check-up alerts too. Cognia does not call emergency services: it shows your country's number and a button that opens the dialler.
