Check foods with the reason behind each rating and log meals and symptoms with their time. If you load your allergy results, the app warns you when you search a food.
The traffic light weighs foods from alpha-gal syndrome, with the reason and, where there is one, its source. The catalogue tells apart the preparations of one food: the name alone does not say it all.
Take a photo or upload the PDF of your allergy panel and the AI reads it; you check it before saving. With Premium, you load and edit those results.
What you marked in your results warns you when you search a food and on its page: one food with all its preparations, or a word, which reaches everything with it in the name. A previous severe reaction shows as contraindicated.
Log every meal and symptom with its time. When a food shows up before a symptom, Cognia saves the match and, if it repeats, moves it up a level. If the symptom came before 11:00, for meals it also looks at yesterday from midday on.
The medicines, supplements and personal products you log go into the same analysis, covering the 24 hours before the symptom.
Alpha-gal syndrome has no alarm questions of its own in Cognia. There are level-based alerts, with the NHS page behind them, for symptoms such as difficulty breathing, rash, vomiting or abdominal pain.
Choose an emergency contact. If the alert is urgent, they always get it; if they chose so, the urgent check-up alerts too. Cognia does not call emergency services: it shows your country's number and a button that opens the dialler.
With Premium, export meals and symptoms for the period you choose as a PDF, with analytics over any period.
